THE ADVENTURES OF JJ PICKLETOES

Have you ever had one of those weeks? 

.

One of those weeks when everything seems to happen at once. 

.

It was like that for me. 

.

There was a lot happening this week. 

.

I had to help my Dad replace a sand filter on a pool. 

He usually can do this job by himself but sometimes it is nice to have some help. 

Maybe I will become a pool technician when I grow up? 

.

Or maybe not, but it is always good to learn lots of different skills. 

.

After I helped Dad for a while, Grandpa and I had to take a shortish break. 

.

We were tired out. 

.

Joseph learned to drive this week. 

He doesn’t need his driver’s license because he is just driving on the racetrack for now. 

.

He didn’t win the Monaco Grand Prix this year that was won by Andrea Kimi Antonelli driving a Mercedes. 

The next year’s winner will be driving a yellow F1 racecar for the Dream on Me team. 

You should start saving now because tickets for the Monaco Grand Prix start around $1000 CDN and go up to $15000. 

.

It was a hot week this week. 

 I had to take another quick break while I was watching over my castle and the neighbourhood. 

Freezes are a great summer treat. 

Joseph can’t say anything about my breaks. 

 
He slept during his break. 

 It seems he sleeps a lot. 

.

On a small side note. 

.

It was Mom and Dad’s anniversary on Sunday. 

.

They had a road trip and a beach day. 

.

Joseph and I stayed overnight at Grandma and Grandpa’s house. 

.

I think that we woke up a little earlier than they were used to getting up. 

.

I don’t know that for sure. 

.

Grandpa and I headed out for a walk shortly after the sun came out. 

If you follow the sunrise times you will know that is early,

 it isn’t that early if you use eastern standard time. 

.

Grandma and Grandpa also celebrated their wedding anniversary this week. 

They almost went to Italy for Gelato.  

.

That was our busy week. 

.
