There is a tree.
In their house, but I will get to that in a bit.
Last week you know that my parents were away.
In the last couple of weeks, I had some adventures of my own.
Right here in the neighbourhood.
In one of my Grandparent’s neighbourhood.
One morning we went walking down the street, I say we because I don’t walk yet and I need someone to take me in the stroller or carry me.
Mostly carry me, that way I can see more of what is going on.
We saw a little white dog named Oreo, maybe it was a cat it was very small.
No, I am sure it was a dog.
Then we walked across the street to visit the lady who lives in that house.
She has a dog, and you can tell it is a dog because it is very big.
We visited there for a few minutes, we only stay anywhere a few minutes.
She held me for a bit and then I stood around and walked along the couch and then we were gone.
I guess I should have told her that I was going to Daycare now.
Sometimes there are germs at Daycare, these are strong germs and that is how us kids build immunity.
These germs are much stronger than the immunity of a mom of teenagers.
She wasn’t used to daycare germs anymore and the next day she started to suffer.
She was only sick for 10 days.
It still can’t be proven that it was me that caused her to be sick, although I was a bit under the weather when I visited her.
I hope that she doesn’t hold a grudge.
Another day we were on the way to see the tree.
And we got stopped.
The lady across the street wondered if I would like to drive her car.
Of course.
It is a Mustang convertible.

She must have been watching me drive my blue car with the red handlebar.
I said sure, because I am a good driver.
I haven’t figured out how to turn my car, but her car seemed easier to drive.
The steering wheel in her car turns, that makes it easier.
I was having trouble shifting the gears and braking that will get better with practice.
Grandpa says that I should practice with someone else’s car and not his anyway.
Now we are heading to the house with the tree.
There is a tree.
IN THEIR HOUSE.
Can you believe it?
I wouldn’t have believed it either, unless I saw it for myself.
But there it was.
There is a tree from the floor to the ceiling, and it looks so real that a little brown bear was climbing it.
The tree was real, but it wasn’t growing.
It was a log that was going to be used to build a log cabin which was their original house design.

The bear isn’t real,
It is a stuffed bear.
It is a reminder of a trip to Jasper, Canada.
Isn’t it interesting the things we can learn when you visit with your neigbours.
