Is it too early to be learning things?
I am walking a little and I am talking a little.
But that doesn’t mean that my brain isn’t soaking things in.
Like Grandpa says” just because I don’t talk much doesn’t mean that
I am not paying attention.”
.
I love learning new things.
It seems that if I am learning, then the things must be new.
So, is that being repetitively redundant?
The bigger question is when are we too young or too old to learn something?
.
Is 60 too old to learn a new language?
I don’t think so.
.
Is 70 too old to learn how to use a use a new cell phone?
Maybe.
.
Is 18 months too young to learn how to read an analog clock?
Probably not.
.
Is 18 months too young to be learning how to use Grandpa’s pocket knife?
Maybe.
I know my Dad has a Victorinox Swiss Army knife that belonged to his Dad.

.
Grandpa was using it, and I wanted to have a closer look at it.
.
It is a Victorinox Swiss Army knife, the model with the serrated main blade.
I know Grandpa got his first Victorinox knife from a German Exchange student that stayed with him and Grandma in the 1993.
Now he has several models, the Classic, the Rambler, and this one with the serrated blade.
.
I already have my own multi tool.
I just leave it in my drawer because most of my pants don’t have pockets.
I guess it is a drawer knife not a pocket knife.
.
My Mom’s cousin has a drawer knife,
it used to be a pocket knife but he just leaves it in his drawer.
So now it is a drawer knife, that doesn’t seem as handy to me.
.
I hope one day to have my own Victorinox pocket knife maybe I will start off with a Classic as well.
.
Did you ever have a pocket knife, and do you carry one now?
