The details.
That is where you see the important things.
.
There is a photo that my parents set up.
A nice Fall, Thanksgiving photo.
There is a dashing young man sitting behind three pumpkins.
It is set up nicely, with me and some pumpkins overlooking the street from our balcony.
At first glance you notice my smiling face, with the look.
A mischievous smile.
The look of a toddler who knows a secret.
.
What is the secret that I know?
.
You must look carefully at the pumpkins.
Actually, you don’t really have to look to carefully at all.
The message is quite obvious.
There will be more pumpkins next year.
Isn’t there always more pumpkins in the next year?
.
That is a funny message.
Oh, wait a minute.
.
I am just reading the printing on my shirt.

.
I wonder, whose shirt am I wearing?
This one says Big Brother.
I am not a big brother.
.
Not yet.
.
I am going to be a brother of a pumpkin, that is arriving in 2026.
It must be code for something else.
.
Mom and Dad just told me.
I am going to be a big brother, to a little brother or a little sister.
.
That will be fun,
won’t it?
.
That must be why our house is full of packing boxes.
There just won’t be enough room here for another person.
.
I wonder what my new house will look like?
And where will it be?
.
I will let you know.
.
Do you remember being excited about becoming a big brother or big sister?
