What do you do on the coldest day in May when you have already geared up for summer?
There are lots of things that you can do on a cold day in May.
Light the fireplace and read a book,
make some soup and biscuits,
you could also book a flight to a tropical destination.
You would have to stay for more than one day but that is a sacrifice you could make.
I don’t live in Carman, but my Grandparents do so we are just using the temperatures from there.
It was very hot that day where I live as well.
Temperatures in Carman on May 13 in 2025, reached a high of 36.2 C. That was higher than the town’s previous record of 33.5 C set in 1987.
Of course, this isn’t the coldest day ever recorded but it is the coldest recorded temperature for May 13.
What do you do when it is a record hot day in May?
You can stay inside, if you have air conditioning.
You can go to the pool if there is one nearby.
What if there isn’t a pool nearby?
What if your mom is very creative.
My dad is creative as well, but he wasn’t home.
Can your mom build a pool?
Can she build it from scratch?
My mom can.
In fact, she did.
She built a pool using a laundry basket and some aluminum foil.
It wasn’t perfect but it was great for me and the next one will be better.
My dad works on pools, he doesn’t build them, but he maintains them.
I wonder if he will be able to maintain the pool mom built for me?
They say, whoever they are, that being creative is one of the best life and job skills to have.
I would agree.
I wonder if I will be creative as well?
