They say time flies,
but does it?
I have seen birds fly and I have seen airplanes fly, but I have never seen time fly.
Did you know this saying is translated from Latin, from the Roman poet Virgil, who wrote in his Georgics, Tempus Fugit, time flees or time flies.
It seems that this year has gone by faster than any other year that I can remember.
It could have gone by slower than any other year that I remember as well.
How would I really know.
It seems like it was last year when I greeted world, and I couldn’t walk or talk.
Now it is one year later and,
I still can’t walk or talk but I am getting closer to doing both of these things.
Isn’t wonderful when millions of people celebrate your birthday.
Yes, on May 5th, many people, mostly people from the USA and the people from the Mexican region of Puebla celebrate my birthday.
They have been celebrating it since 1862.
Really, they could be celebrating Cinco de Mayo, when the Mexicans defeated the Napoleon III and the French troops at the city of Puebla in 1862.
If you don’t know the answer for sure, always assume the best.
I had a nice birthday celebration in the park.

I was surrounded by my friends and my family and some strangers that happened to be at the park.
I received a few nice gifts that I will use and remember, but I will remember the people that were there most of all.

Can you remember a birthday party that you had?
