We know that an April shower brings a Mayflower.
But what does a wedding shower bring?
I don’t know much about showers,
I am more of a bath guy.
I have a bath chair and some really cool bath toys.
I don’t see the need for a shower, when I can have so much fun in the tub, perhaps one day I will change my mind.
When I was told that there was a shower for mom and dad, I was a bit worried maybe confused.
Let me tell you how a shower works for adults.
I thought a shower would be similar to a bath just quicker.
Not so.
A shower especially a wedding shower is totally different than I thought.
A wedding shower is when the friends and family of the wedding couple, mom and dad, gather together to celebrate the upcoming marriage of the couple.

There were many people there to help celebrate.
There were neighbourhood people.
There were friend people and there were family people.
Some people fit into more than one category.
There was another kind of people there as well.
I went in to the kitchen to see if all was well there and the people said that I didn’t need to be checking on them, I should be mingling with the people.
I said that kitchen people were people too, so I needed to mingle with them as well.
My parents were truly blessed by all the people who came out.
The kitchen people,
the people who came out to help decorate,
the neighbourhood people,
the family people,
the friend people,
the church people.
Some people fit into more than one category.
Thanks to all the people that came out and blessed my parents, and me.
On a final note.
I am offering free child care opportunities.
