Have you seen it before?
I haven’t.
I have heard that lots of people in the world haven’t seen it either, so I don’t feel so bad.
You shouldn’t feel bad about not seeing something that someone else has seen, because there are probably lots of other people who haven’t seen it either.
Yes, people want to make you feel bad if you haven’t done things they have done or seen the things they have seen, but who really cares.
You have probably done things they haven’t.
Well, you know what I am talking about if you live in Southern Manitoba at this time of year.
That’s right.
Sales at the Mall.
Not really,
I am talking about snow,
and sales at the mall, I had never seen a sale at the mall before either.
Back to this snow thing.
The snow seems very fun to play in.
I laid in it and tried to make a snow angel.
I went down the slide at the park that was covered in snow.
This first snow seemed like it will be lots of fun.
Playing and shoveling the first snow is lots of fun.
Shoveling the second snow probably isn’t as fun as the shoveling the first snow.
I wouldn’t know because I can’t shovel snow, my mom and dad don’t think that I am old enough.
Get used to hearing that.
“Can I…….?”
“No, you aren’t old enough.”
“Maybe, when you are older.”
But you should be careful.
One day when you are older, someone, like one of your parents, are going to “Tom Sawyer” you into shoveling the snow and then YOU will be stuck doing it.
You know, talk you into doing something that they could do because they make it look fun, and they don’t want to do it.
The lesson for now.
Enjoy what you can do now, and don’t spend your time wishing that you could be doing something else.
Enjoy playing in the snow,
Someday you will have to shovel it.
