THE ADVENTURES OF JJ PICKLETOES

If I can go here, then why can’t I go anywhere? 

This a big place and you need some skills to survive, and I did. 

Survive, I mean. 

If I can survive here, then I can go anywhere or do anything. 

You see you just need to some things that you haven’t done before and then you build the confidence to do other things. 

You know where I am talking about? 

That great big place that seems lightyears away. 

Did you guess? 

I am talking about Costco. 

I have decided that if I can get through the mazes of groceries and clothes and the hordes people and the jungle, they call the checkout line. 

I think that I can go anywhere and do almost anything. 

I thought, maybe I would like to become an astronaut someday. 

Or maybe I will be a doctor, or an electrician, or plumber, or computer programmer, maybe even a government diplomat, 

but perhaps I will do something else. 

I might even do something when I am older that I had never even thought about doing before. 

My parents will show me lots of things to do and so will the other people around me, 

there will be things to do when I am older that aren’t around yet, and I will try some of them. 

Do you know why I will do something great? 

Because I am an adaptable young man. 

And that is the best skill of all. Did you know that being adaptable is one of the best skills that there is. 

There is lots about this subject on the internet. 

Are doing something that you didn’t think you could or would do. 

Is it because you did little things that were outside you comfort zone and now you can do bigger things and not worry so much?
